We assist you in enrolling with established training providers who do this work well. You can rest easy knowing everything around the training, funding, logistics, housing, and stipend are handled so you can focus on succeeding.

Pathway 01 · Driving

CDL Class A

Commercial driving is the shortest distance between release and a wage that supports a household. The industry is short on drivers, hires on demonstrated skill, and pays before most trades do.

You train toward a Class A commercial driver's license — the license that covers tractor-trailers and the widest range of work. Training is hands-on with real equipment, and testing is scheduled as soon as you're ready.

A note on records. Some driving jobs and endorsements have restrictions tied to specific convictions. We will tell you straight, early, what your record does and does not affect — before you invest weeks in training.

Pathway 02 · Trades

HVAC

Heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration work is steady, local, and hard to offshore. Bay Area service companies are hiring technicians faster than schools produce them.

You learn system fundamentals, diagnostics, refrigerant handling, and safe practice with shop time on real equipment — then move into a service role or an apprenticeship.

Pathway 03 · Technology

IT support

Technical support is the front door to the technology industry. It is indoor work, it rewards patience and problem-solving more than credentials, and it opens onto networking, security, and systems administration within a few years.

Training runs with two partners, JobTrain and Love Never Fails. Depending on where your computer skills are today, your navigator will advise which is the better starting point — and ultimately, the choice is yours. Coursework runs on a certification pathway, with interview coaching built in — because in this field, how you talk about your record matters as much as what you know.

Reentry navigation

The part that isn't on the syllabus.

Every participant is connected with a navigator: one person who knows your situation, has your number, and works the problems that pull people out of training.

Navigation also comes with material support: a stipend for up to 12 months while you're in training and following program guidelines, and — for some participants, as space allows — a bed for up to six months. And it continues after you're hired: we stay in contact through your first year on the job, staying closest in the early months when most reentry employment quietly falls apart.
